Asking $2000. ^{No way to open trunk manually? The roof on my SDrive35is (E89) opened half way then stoped. I managed to get the rear part (window) down again manually} Vladi. On the E85/E86 the Transport mode is activated if the voltage of the battery drops below certain level (11.8 V if I remember correctly) and not if the battery is simply replaced. Unless the newly mounted battery is not charged and its voltage is below the value that sets the Transport mode off. I have copies of BMW Diagnostic programs on an old Laptop BMW 1.4.0 and BMW ISTA/INPA which includes technical repair information, the downside it doesn't get BMW updates. Not an issue as most of the BMW's I see are friends and family and are a few years old anyway. Total cost was less than $100 US zBNMM.
