Lamborghini has confirmed that its iconic Countach supercar will return. The company didn’t offer any details, but leaks and its recent history with electrification suggest the new car will have
Nothing is for certain, but there’s no guarantee there will be a 2023 Lamborghini Countach. Remember, the ‘22 is a 50th-anniversary special, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the folks at Lambo aren’t in a rush to manufacture more anytime soon. But we’ve been wrong before!

1974-1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400. In the three years since the prototype debuted, Lamborghini was busy making a lot of changes to the overall design in order to ensure that it would be street legal. As a result, the first Lamborghini Countach that was delivered as a production model hit the streets in 1974.
Regardless, there is nothing in the automotive world as striking as the Countach. Nothing. And this is really what I love about it—the car is a rolling motor-show. Growing up, I had an Alpine stereo poster above my bed that featured a later Lamborghini, shot from the rear so that the massive rear wing was the most prominent feature.

The Lamborghini Countach was meant to be the most outrageous car ever, and not just in how it looked, but how it drove as well. The car has a V12 engine that made more than 400 horsepower and held 4.5 gallons of oil in the 1980s when Mustangs and Corvettes were struggling to produce 200 horsepower.
